What is an Acceptable Use Policy?
Today, technology is everywhere you go you either have a smart phone, a laptop for work, or even a computer in your school. Therefore, we need to discuss acceptable and unacceptable uses for the Internet called the acceptable use policy (AUP) or fair use policy. Acceptable use policy are rules placed by the creator or administration of the network that develops certain restrictions and guidelines as to how to use the Internet. The reason for creating guidelines is to minimize the dangers of that a student might come across while using the Internet.
This is a great example of a school systems Acceptable Use Policy!
